The House Was Clean Sign Stencil - Reusable - Quality Mylar

You know what it's like. You actually had a clean house, one day this week. Or was it this month? At least you'd like people to think you did. After all, with all the traffic going through your home, it's surprising anything stays clean for more than five minutes. Well, when you want to have a little fun with the idea of trying to keep your house clean, you can use your DIY passion to do just that, thanks to our The House Was Clean Stencil. This stencil is absolutely hilarious! It says, “The house was clean yesterday, sorry you missed it.” There is a fun combination of fonts used, the word “yesterday” is surrounded by stars, and above the words is a cartoon image of the roof of a house smiling. That is one happy house to have been cleaned! But perhaps even more challenging than keeping your house clean is deciding what to do with this stencil design. You can use one of our smaller stencils to make a small piece of stencil art. You can go with a medium size and make your art bigger or paint this design onto a t-shirt. You can go really big and bold and paint this onto a wall in your home. Honestly, there are no limits to what you can do with this stencil, and we've got you covered when it comes to size. We offer the The House Was Clean stencil in the following sizes: 5” x 6” 5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” All you need to do is choose your stencil size and get the right paint for the surface on which you are painting. Use some fun colors to make the design really stand out. Plus, we have plenty of home-related sign stencils, such as our Housewife Please Excuse The Mess Sign stencil. Painting couldn't be easier. Simply secure the stencil and apply the paint with a roller, brush, or spray. When you're done, wash this durable and reusable stencil and tuck it away until inspiration hits again. That is, as long as your house is clean enough to find the stencil again.

Here are some advantages of using Mylar Stencil Material:

  • FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
  • EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
  • REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
  • DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

Mylar Stencil Material

  • Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
  • Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?

As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.

Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.

There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.

All stencil designs are copyright protected to their respective designer and intellectual property owner.
