You can probably hear that jingle going through your head right now. And now these names are all laid out in out fantastic Reindeer Names stencil. The Reindeer Names stencil has a complete list of all the names of Santa's reindeer, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and of course, Rudolph! The names are done in a lovely font and they are all surrounded by so many decorative elements, such as Santa's sleigh, a poinsettia, reindeer, a shooting star, antlers, a Santa hat, an arrow, and loads of snowflakes. The “O” in Rudolph's name is even a nose! Wow! Imagine the art you can create with this design. Paint it on wood, metal, or canvas. Create greeting cards and t-shirts. Make signs and posters for a big event, such as a Christmas play or concert. This can be the list of names the audience can use to sing along! This stencil would also go well with any of our other holiday stencils, such as our Santa Christmas Eve stencil. Just be sure you get the right paint for the medium and choose the right stencil size from our range of sizes, which includes: 5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” Using the Reindeer Names stencil is super easy. WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
