Love Arrow Valentines Heart Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar

Shooting an arrow through the heart, the work of Cupid and one of the main images of Valentine's Day. The arrow through the heart means you are love-struck, that Cupid, the ancient Roman God of Love, has shot his arrow through your heart. And on Valentine's Day, that abundance of love is the only thing you should feel. We thought we'd help that feeling of love along, which is why we created our Love Arrow Valentine's Heart stencil. This design depicts a big heart with an arrow piercing it and a banner across the front of it with the word “Love” written in it. It's a classic design, simple, yet eye-catching. And you can use it anywhere you like. If you're making decorations for a Valentine's Day dance or other event, what better way than to make fun signs and posters with this design, and any of our other Valentine's Day stencils, such as our Heart Of Hearts Love Valentine stencil. But signs and posters are only the beginning. Make a handmade Valentine's day card full of love. Make a t-shirt for your loved one. Ice a cake with this awesome food-grade stencil. Make a huge sign you can hang on your balcony or put on your front lawn as part of a Valentine's Day surprise for that very special someone. All you need to make all this loving magic happen is the right paint for the surface on which you are painting and the right stencil size for your project. We have stencils ranging from small to large, including the following sizes: 6” x 6” 8” x 8” 12” x 12” 15” x 15” 20” x 20” 25” x 25” 30” x 30” 35” x 35” So, decide on your project and get ready to have some real fun. Secure the stencil to the surface and paint your love for the world to see. You can do it on your own, or have a stenciling party with friends. When you're done, all you need to do is wash the stencil and you can tuck it away for next Valentine's Day.

Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:

  • FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
  • EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
  • REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
  • DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL

  • Medium Weight. Feels as thick as card stock
  • 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
  • Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
  • Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
  • Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?

As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.

Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.

There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
