First Day Of School Sign Stencil - Reusable - Quality Mylar

A child's first day of school is one to remember. It is full of emotion for parents and children alike. And all the milestones as a child grows up are also significant and very special. The first day of preschool, of kindergarten, of grade one. The first day of middle school and high school. And even when your grown kiddo heads off to college, that first day is something to treasure. Well, no matter what stage your child is at, we have the perfect stencil design for you. Introducing our First Day Of School Sign stencil in all its glory. This stencil is so amazing. There is so much to it in terms of design and in terms of capturing memories. You could actually use it for the first day of school every single year throughout your child's entire school career – or at least until they say no way. The stencil says, “First Day Of” and then a blank banner, in which you can put the grade for that year. Then it has sections that say, “I Am,” “My Teacher Is,” “I Love,” “Inches,” “Pounds,” and “I Want To Be A.” You just paint it and fill in all this information, which will be saved forever. There are so many places you can paint this design. You can paint it on a special wall in your home, capturing the memories of every new school year. You can paint it on paper to include in a school memories scrapbook. You can paint it on a chalkboard surface and change it up every year. You can make it into stencil art you can hang in your home, perhaps alongside the school photo from that year. All you need is the right paint for the medium and the right stencil size and you can paint this design anywhere you want on any surface you want. Walls, glass, metal, wood, canvas, plastic, paper, and more. Small, medium, or large, we have the size that is right for your needs. Available sizes include: 5” x 6” 5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” So, gather all your materials, secure your stencil to the desired surface, and paint the memories you want to preserve for your child. It is fun, quick, and easy and so is the cleanup. And since this stencil is durable and reusable, you will be able to enjoy using every year your child starts school.

Here are some advantages of using Mylar Stencil Material:

  • FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
  • EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
  • REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
  • DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?

As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.

Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.

There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
